Our Team

With nearly twenty years of development, communications and event planning experience within the not-for-profit sector, Sou is superbly skilled at cultivating donor relations, grant writing, event fundraising and management, and effectively communicating an organizations' key messages to its target audience.

Prior to joining Elizabeth Rose Consulting, Sou was the Major Donor Coordinator and Interim Communications Manager at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. She has also held the position of Project Coordinator for the Clarke Foundation, and a Research and Data Analyst at the Partnership for Community Health.

Sou grew up in Southern California, and received a Bachelor of Art in Political Science and Legal Studies from The University of California Santa Cruz. She ventured to New York City to pursue graduate studies at New York University, where she earned a Masters in Public Administration and Non-Profit Management from the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service. After nineteen years on the east coast, Sou recently returned to the west coast, currently residing in Southern California with her two daughters.

Named after both of her grandmothers, Liz founded Elizabeth Rose Consulting (ERC) in 2008. The mission for ERC has always been to ‘reflect the light’ for worthy causes and important gatherings for organizations looking to make an impact.

With over 20 years of experience as a curator of event design, producer, and project manager Liz is dedicated to bringing our clients a refinement to their events so they can keep their constituents engaged and dedicated.

Since opening, through it's fundraising support services, ERC has helped non-profit organizations raise over $36 M (accumulative) to provide services to those in need.

Liz grow up in philanthropy, as both of her parents were community organizers, ministers and outreach coordinators. So her love for non-profit work and community engagement is in her blood and it shows.

She is an expert curator; planning and executing events from A to Z for over 20 years. Her experience in fundraising started when she was asked to help start a non-profit arm for a public company, which raised $11M in a five year period. She went on to help over 24 organizations since then and has planned hundreds of events.

She currently lives in the Hudson Valley in New York, where she owns two yoga studios and a wellness center. She is an integrative wellness coach, yoga teacher, program facilitator and author. She is an advocate for Climate Change and a traveler. You may even find yourself on a zoom call with her while she is traveling in her van!
